A part of my ecosystem homeworke

Distribution
Moving north and south away from the equator, rainfall decrease and becomes more seasonal. As distinct wet and dry season develop, tropical rainforests give way to tropical deciduous forests, where the trees drop their leaves in the dry season. As rainfall decreases even more, these tropical deciduous forests are replaced by thorn forests and finally by a mixture of widely spaced trees and grassland, or savanna.
